THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
