The food of the Zakkum tree 43 is food for the sinner. 44 Like murky oil, it boils within bellies 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 [And the word will be spoken:] "Seize him, [O you forces of hell,] and drag him into the midst of the blazing fire: 47 Then pour unto their heads the boiling water to torment them". 48 "Taste it," (they will be told). "You were indeed the mighty and noble! 49 "Truly this is what ye used to doubt!" 50 Surely the godfearing shall be in a station secure 51 amid gardens and springs, 52 robed in silk and brocade, set face to face. 53 We shall unite them to maidens with big black and white lovely eyes. 54 They call therein for every fruit in safety. 55 and neither shall they taste death there after having passed through their erstwhile death. Thus will He have preserved them from all suffering through the blazing fire 56 a bounty from thy Lord; that is the mighty triumph. 57 Certainly, We have made this (Quran) easy in your tongue, in order that they may remember. 58 Wait, then; they too are waiting. 59
