The warnings came also to Pharaoh's folk. 41 (They) belied all Our Signs, so We seized them with a Seizure of the All-Mighty, All-Capable to carry out what he Will (Omnipotent). 42 Are you disbelievers mightier than those of the nations which We destroyed before or have you received amnesty through the ancient Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: 'We are a gathering that will be victorious' 44 The hosts shall soon be routed and they shall be put to flight. 45 Nay; the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Hour shall be more calamitous and bitter. 46 Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad. 47 On that Day they will be dragged into the fire faces foremost, (and told:) "Taste the feel of Hell." 48 We have created everything in due measure; 49 It takes only a single command from Us (to bring the Day of Judgment) and that can be achieved within the twinkling of an eye. 50 And (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition? 51 And each and everything they have done is noted in (their) Records (of deeds). 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 The God-conscious will find themselves in gardens and rivers, 54 In the seat of honor with a most Powerful King. 55
