And indeed the Noble Messengers came to the people of Firaun. 41 they, too, gave the lie to all Our messages: and thereupon We took them to task as only the Almighty, who determines all things, can take to task. 42 Are your people who deny the truth better than those? Or have you been given immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: We are a host allied together to help each other? 44 Certainly the host shall be routed, and turn their backs. 45 In fact, the Hour of Doom is the time for them to suffer. The suffering of this hour is the most calamitous and the most bitter (of all suffering). 46 Surely the sinners are misguided and insane. 47 when they will be dragged on their faces into the fire and will be told, "Feel the touch of hell". 48 Lo! We have created every thing by measure. 49 And Our Command is but a single (Act),- like the twinkling of an eye. 50 And indeed, We have destroyed your likes, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)? 51 All their deeds are in the Scrolls, 52 And every small and great [thing] is inscribed. 53 Indeed the pious are amidst Gardens and springs. 54 where they will be honourably seated in the presence of a King, Mighty in Power. 55
