By the angels who violently tear-out the souls of the disbelievers from their bodies, 1 by the drawers (the angels of death), gently drawing (the souls of the believers), 2 By the lone stars floating, 3 And who quickly present themselves. 4 And those who govern the event, 5 On the day when the trembling one will tremble. (The disbelievers will certainly taste the punishment.) 6 There will follow it the subsequent [one]. 7 hearts will undergo terrible trembling, 8 [and] their eyes downcast... 9 They say (now): "What! shall we indeed be returned to (our) former state? 10 After having turned to carious bones?" 11 They have said, "Such a resurrection will certainly be a great loss". 12 So that is not but a single shout. 13 And suddenly they will be [alert] upon the earth's surface. 14 (Muhammad), have you heard the story of Moses 15 When his Lord called him in the holy valley of Tuwa. 16 (Saying:) Go thou unto Pharaoh - Lo! he hath rebelled - 17 Then say thou: wouldst thou to be purified? 18 And let me guide you to your Lord so you would fear [Him]?'" 19 So he showed him the great sign, 20 But Pharaoh denied and disobeyed. 21 Then he turned back striving. 22 then he mustered 23 Saying: "I am alone your lord, the highest of them all." 24 you pay attention 25 Verily, in this is an instructive admonition for whosoever fears Allah. 26
