Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
When the sunlight is rolled up. 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 When the mountains vanish (like a mirage); 3 And when the she-camels big with young shall be abandoned, 4 And when the wild beasts are herded together, 5 And when the seas are filled with flame 6 And when souls are reunited, 7 And when the girl-child that was buried alive is asked 8 For what sin she was killed? 9 When the ledgers are laid open, 10 the heavens are unveiled, 11 and Hell is stoked, 12 And when Paradise shall be brought near, 13 (Then) every soul will know what it hath made ready. 14 I do not need to swear by the orbiting 15 And by the planets that move swiftly and hide themselves, 16 And by the night as it closes in 17 And the Dawn as it breathes away the darkness;- 18 That this is in truth the word of an honoured messenger, 19 endowed with power and held in honour by the Lord of the Throne -- 20 Obeyed and worthy there of trust. 21 And your companion is not [at all] mad. 22 in truth he saw him (Gabriel) on the clear horizon, 23 And he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) withholds not a knowledge of the unseen. 24 The Quran is not the word of condemned satan. 25 Then where are you going? 26 This is a reminder for all the peoples of the world, 27 (With profit) to whoever among you wills to go straight: 28 And you do not will except that Allah wills - Lord of the worlds. 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
