Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 and when the seas burst beyond their bounds, 3 And when the graves are overturned. 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 In whatever shape He will He could surely have fashioned you. 8 Nay, [O men,] but you [are lured away from God whenever you are tempted to] give the lie to [God's] Judgment! 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 Who know what you do. 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
