Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 When the planets are dispersed, 2 when the oceans are gushed forth, 3 And when the graves are laid open, 4 then everyone will know what he has sent ahead, and what he has left behind. 5 O MAN! What is it that lures thee away from thy bountiful Sustainer, 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 He moulded you into whatever shape He willed. 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 Yet over you there are watchers, 10 Honorable recorders, 11 They know what you do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 And verily the ungodly shall be in a Scorch. 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 nor shall they ever be absent from it. 16 And what could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
