The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
CONSIDER the heavens and that which comes in the night! 1 - Ah, what will tell thee what the Morning Star is! 2 (It is) the Star of piercing brightness;- 3 [for] no human being has ever been left unguarded. 4 So let man consider of what he is created: 5 He was created from ejaculated water 6 issuing from between the backbone and the breastbone: 7 Surely (Allah) is able to bring him back (to life)! 8 On a Day whereon secrets shall be out. 9 (Man) will have no power, and no helper. 10 By the Firmament which returns (in its round), 11 And by oath of the earth which flourishes with it. 12 That this (Qur'an) is a decisive word 13 And it is not amusement. 14 They are planning a scheme, 15 and so am I: 16 So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile. 17
Almighty God's Truth.
