Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
