The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
