Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
