AND, INDEED, We have set up in the heavens great constellations, and endowed them with beauty for all to behold; 16 and guarded them from every stoned satan. 17 save him who may eavesdrop, and then a bright flame pursues him. 18 We have spread out the earth, and set upon it firm mountains and caused everything to grow in due proportion. 19 And created livelihoods for you in it, and created those for whom you do not provide the sustenance. 20 For, no single thing exists that does not have its source with Us; and nought do We bestow from on high unless it be in accordance with a measure well-defined. 21 And We send the winds fertilising, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. It is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof. 22 It is We who give life and cause things to die and We are the sole Heirs. 23 We know those who lived before you and those who will come after you. 24 And verily thy Lord! He will gather them, and verily He is Wise, Knowing. 25
