O Children of Israel! call to mind the (special) favour which I bestowed upon you, and fulfil your covenant with Me as I fulfil My Covenant with you, and fear none but Me. 40 And believe in what I have revealed, verifying that which is with you, and be not the first to deny it, neither take a mean price in exchange for My communications; and Me, Me alone should you fear. 41 And mix not truth with falsehood, nor conceal the truth [i.e. Muhammad Peace be upon him is Allah's Messenger and his qualities are written in your Scriptures, the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] while you know (the truth). 42 And be steadfast in prayer; practise regular charity; and bow down your heads with those who bow down (in worship). 43 ۞ Do you order righteousness of the people and forget yourselves while you recite the Scripture? Then will you not reason? 44 Find strength in fortitude and prayer, which is heavy and exacting but for those who are humble and meek, 45 Who know that they will have to meet their Lord, and that unto Him they are returning. 46
