The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By oath of the heaven which contains the constellations. 1 by the promised day, 2 And by the Day witnessing and the Day witnessed, 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 of fire fiercely burning [for all who have attained to faith]! 5 When they sat by it, 6 And they were witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 Against these they had no grudge except that they believed in Allah, the Most Mighty, the Most Praiseworthy, 8 Whose kingdom spreads over the heavens and the earth. God is witness over everything. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and women without repenting will suffer the torment of hell and that of the burning fire. 10 Surely for those who believe and do the right are gardens with rivers running by. That is the greatest success. 11 Lo! the punishment of thy Lord is stern. 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 and He is the All-forgiving, the All-loving, 14 Honorable Owner of the Throne, 15 Doer of what He will. 16 Has the story of the hordes 17 Pharaoh and Thamood? 18 Nay! those who disbelieve are in (the act of) giving the lie to the truth. 19 Allah encompasses them all from behind. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Koran, 21 On a guarded tablet. 22
