And the people of the Hijr (rocks) denied the Noble Messengers. 80 And We gave them Our signs, but from them they were turning away. 81 They carved out dwellings in the mountains, and lived in security -- 82 But they were seized by the mighty blast towards the morning; 83 All that they had acquired was of no avail to them. 84 We created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them, but for just ends. And the Hour is surely coming (when this will be manifest). So overlook (any human faults) with gracious forgiveness. 85 Your Lord is the Creator, the Knower. 86 And indeed, We have bestowed upon you seven of Al-Mathani (the seven repeatedly recited Verses), (i.e. Surat Al-Fatiha) and the Grand Quran. 87 Do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [certain] categories of the disbelievers, and do not grieve over them. And lower your wing to the believers 88 And say: "I am a distinct warner," 89 Like as We sent down on the dividers 90 Those who broke the Word of Allah into several parts. (Those who broke the Torah / Bible or changed its text – or those who called the Qur’an a fabrication / poetry.) 91 Therefore, by the Lord, We will, of a surety, call them to account, 92 about what they did. 93 Proclaim then, what you are commanded and turn away from the unbelievers. 94 Indeed We suffice you against these mockers. 95 Those who adopt, with Allah, another god: but soon will they come to know. 96 We certainly know that their statements sorely grieve you. 97 But glorify your Lord with His praise, and prostrate yourself: 98 And worship thy Lord until there cometh unto thee the certainty. 99
