And Nuh's people belied the sent ones. 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 I am a trustworthy messenger for you: 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 If only you would realize, their account is with my Lord. 113 "I am not one to drive away those who believe. 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. 117 “Therefore make a decisive judgement between me and them, and rescue me and the believers along with me.” 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones. 120 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
