The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca. First revelation of the Quran before The Pen (Al-Qalam)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
READ in the name of thy Sustainer, who has created 1 Created man from a clinging substance. 2 Recite: And thy Lord is the Most Generous, 3 who taught by the Pen, 4 The One Who taught man all what he did not know. 5 Nay! man is most surely inordinate, 6 Because he considers himself self-sufficient. 7 Surely unto thy Lord is the Returning. 8 What is your opinion regarding him who forbids 9 A slave when he prayeth? 10 Have you thought, if he had been on guidance 11 and enjoins piety? 12 Hast thou seen if he denieth (Allah's guidance) and is froward? 13 Did he not know that God sees? 14 Let him know that if he does not desist, We shall certainly drag him by his forelocks, 15 by the lying forelock steeped in sin. 16 Then let him call upon his henchmen! 17 We will now call the guards! 18 Nay, heed him not: But bow down in adoration, and bring thyself the closer (to Allah)! ۩ 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
اقرأ القرآن الكريم كله ملونا بالكامل، حيث تولد ألوان وأشكال الصفحات بشكل عشوائي تماما بحيث لا يتكرر التركيب نفسه مرتين.
Read the entire Holy Quran in full color, where pages randomly generate their colors and shapes so that the same scheme never repeats twice.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
