۞ And Allah has proclaimed, “Do not ascribe two Gods; indeed He is the only One God; therefore fear Me alone.” 51 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. His is the Religion for ever. Would you then fear any but Allah? 52 Whatsoever blessing you have, it comes from God; then when affliction visits you it is unto Him that you groan. 53 Then, when He removes the affliction from you, lo, a party of you assign associates to their Lord, 54 (As if) to show their ingratitude for the favours we have bestowed on them! then enjoy (your brief day): but soon will ye know (your folly)! 55 They give to unknown images a share out of the sustenance that We gave them. By God, you will be questioned about that which you have falsely invented. 56 And they attribute to Allah daughters - exalted is He - and for them is what they desire. 57 When any of them is told about the birth of a female his face turns dark, and he is filled with suppressed anger, 58 Because of the evil of the good news he hides himself from people, (pondering) whether he will keep her and be humiliated, or trample her into the dust. Evil is their judgement! 59 Those who do not believe in the Hereafter deserve to be characterized with evil attributes whereas Allah's are the most excellent attributes. He is the Most Mighty, the Most Wise. 60
