Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who created and proportioned 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
