Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. 29 And the earth He extended after that; 30 He draweth out therefrom its moisture and its pasture; 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 the Day when the human will remember what he has worked for, 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 Then he who had been rebellious 37 and preferred the life of this world, 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 What concern do you have to speak about that? 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 Thou art but [sent] to warn those who stand in awe of it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
