And mention thou in the Book Musa: verily he was single-hearted, and was an apostle, prophet. 51 We called out to him from the right side of the mount and made him draw near to be in close communion with Us; 52 and [how,] out of Our grace, We granted unto him his brother Aaron, to be a prophet [by his side]. 53 And make mention in the Scripture of Ishmael. Lo! he was a keeper of his promise, and he was a messenger (of Allah), a prophet. 54 And he enjoined on his family prayer and almsgiving, and was one in whom his Lord was well pleased. 55 And recite in the Book the account of Idris. He was a man of truth, a Prophet; 56 We raised him up to a high place. 57 THESE WERE some of the prophets upon whom God bestowed His blessings - [prophets] of the seed of Adam and of those whom We caused to be borne [in the ark] with Noah, and of the seed of Abraham and Israel and [all of them were] among those whom We had guided and elected; [and] whenever the messages of the Most Gracious were conveyed unto them, they would fall down [before Him,] prostrating themselves and weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ Then, there has succeeded them a posterity who have given up As-Salat (the prayers) [i.e. made their Salat (prayers) to be lost, either by not offering them or by not offering them perfectly or by not offering them in their proper fixed times, etc.] and have followed lusts. So they will be thrown in Hell. 59 Excepting those who may repent and believe and work righteously; these shall enter the Garden and shall not be wronged at all 60 Theirs shall be everlasting Gardens which the Most Compassionate Lord has promised His servants in a realm which is beyond the ken of perception. Surely His promise shall he fulfilled. 61 They will not hear therein anything vain, only greetings of peace. They will receive their provision there morning and evening. 62 Such is the Garden which We give as an inheritance to those of Our servants who guard against Evil. 63 And we (angels) descend not except by the Command of your Lord (O Muhammad SAW). To Him belongs what is before us and what is behind us, and what is between those two, and your Lord is never forgetful, 64 And thy Lord is never forgetful, Lord He of the heavens and earth and all that is between them. So serve Him, and be thou patient in His service; knowest thou any that can be named with His Name? 65
