Believers, help yourselves (in your affairs) through patience and prayer; God is with those who have patience. 153 Do not say that those who are killed in the way of God, are dead, for indeed they are alive, even though you are not aware. 154 Be sure We shall try you with something of fear and hunger and loss of wealth and life and the fruits (of your labour); but give tidings of happiness to those who have patience, 155 Those who say, when afflicted with a calamity, "We belong to God and to Him we shall return," 156 Such are they on whom are blessings from their Lord, and mercy. Such are the rightly guided. 157 ۞ Surely the Safa and the Marwa are among the signs appointed by Allah; so whoever makes a pilgrimage to the House or pays a visit (to it), there is no blame on him if he goes round them both; and whoever does good spontaneously, then surely Allah is Grateful, Knowing. 158 Surely those who conceal the clear proofs and the guidance that We revealed after We made it clear in the Book for men, these it is whom Allah shall curse, and those who curse shall curse them (too). 159 Except for those who repent and correct themselves and make evident [what they concealed]. Those - I will accept their repentance, and I am the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful. 160 Verily those who disbelieve, and die while they are infidels, these it is on whom shall be the curse of Allah and the angels and mankind all. 161 In this state shall they abide; [and] neither will their suffering, be lightened, nor will they be granted respite. 162 Your God is One God; there is no god but He, the All-merciful, the All-compassionate. 163
