Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

۞ HAVE WE NOT opened up thy heart, 1 and removed your burden 2 the burden that weighed down thy back? 3 have We not given you high renown? 4 Indeed, hardship is followed by ease, 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 So when you are free work diligently, 7 And turn to your Lord with all your love. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
