O you who believe! Obey Allah and His Messenger, and turn not away from him (i.e. Messenger Muhammad SAW) while you are hearing. 20 And be not like those who say: "We have heard," but they hear not. 21 ۞ Indeed the worst kind of all beasts in the sight of Allah are the people that are deaf and dumb, and do not understand. 22 Had Allah known of any good in them He would have made them hear, but had He made them hear they would have turned away, averse. 23 O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and the messenger when He calleth you to that which quickeneth you, and know that Allah cometh in between the man and his own heart, and that He it is unto Whom ye will be gathered. 24 Guard yourselves against discord among yourselves so that it will not mislead anyone of you, especially the unjust, and know that God's retribution is most severe. 25 And remember, when ye were few and reckoned feeble in the land, and were in fear lest men should extirpate you, how He gave you refuge, and strengthened you with His help, and made provision of good things for you, that haply ye might be thankful. 26 O you who have believed, do not betray Allah and the Messenger or betray your trusts while you know [the consequence]. 27 And know that your possessions and your children are but a trial and that surely with Allah is a mighty reward. 28
