But no; I swear by what you see, 38 And by oath of those you do not see. 39 That this is indeed the word of the noble Messenger, 40 It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe! 41 nor the speech of a soothsayer (little do you remember). 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings, 44 We surely had lain hold of him by the right hand. 45 then We would surely have cut his life-vein 46 None of you would be able to prevent Us from doing this to him. 47 And most surely it is a reminder for those who guard (against evil). 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 Surely it is a sorrow to the unbelievers; 50 And Verily, it (this Quran) is an absolute truth with certainty. 51 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Almighty. 52
