At length when the messengers arrived among the adherents of Lut, 61 He said: Lo! ye are folk unknown (to me). 62 They said, "No, but we bring you news about what they disputed, 63 "We have brought to thee that which is inevitably due, and assuredly we tell the truth. 64 So set out thou with thy house hold in a portion of the night, and follow thou their backs, and let not one of you look back, and pass whither ye are commanded. 65 And We decreed for him that commandment, that the last remnant of those should be cut off in the morning. 66 And the people of the city came, rejoicing at the news (of new arrivals). 67 rushed towards the house of Lot. Lot said to them, "These are my guests. Do not disgrace me. 68 “And fear Allah and do not disgrace me.” 69 They replied: 'Have we not forbidden you (the people of) the worlds' 70 He said: These are my daughters, if you will do (aught). 71 By your life, they wandered blindly in their dazzlement. 72 So the shriek seized them at sunrise. 73 We turned the town upside-down and showered on them lumps of baked clay. 74 In this there is evidence (of the Truth) for the prudent ones. 75 And indeed that township is upon a road still in use. 76 Indeed there is a portent in this for those who believe. 77 And indeed the Dwellers of the Woods were unjust. 78 So We took retribution from them, and indeed, both [cities] are on a clear highway. 79

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
