Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 and [when] the earth yields up her burdens, 2 And man enquires: "What has come over it?" 3 That Day, it will report its news 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! 7 And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it. 8
