The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ WHEN WHAT IS to happen comes to pass -- 1 and there can be no denying its happening, 2 It will bring down [some] and raise up [others]. 3 when the earth shall be rocked 4 and the mountains will crumble 5 and become a dust, scattered, 6 [on that Day] you shall be divided into three groups. 7 The People on the Right: and how fortunate will be the People on the Right! 8 And (as to) the companions of the left hand; how wretched are the companions of the left hand! 9 and the Outstrippers: the Outstrippers 10 Who will be honoured 11 In the Gardens of delight (Paradise). 12 Many of them will be from the ancient people 13 And a few of the later peoples, 14 On studded thrones. 15 facing one another. 16 There wait on them immortal youths 17 with goblets and ewers and a cup filled with a drink drawn from a running spring, 18 No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated - 19 And fruits that they may like. 20 And the flesh of fowls that they desire. 21 And (there will be) Houris (fair females) with wide, lovely eyes (as wives for the pious), 22 Like unto hidden pearls, 23 A Reward for the deeds of their past (life). 24 There they shall hear no idle talk nor any sinful speech. 25 Nought but the saying: peace! peace! 26 As for the people of the right hand, how happy they will be! 27 Amid thornless lote-trees, 28 Among Talh (banana-trees) with fruits piled one above another, 29 In shade long-extended, 30 and flowing water, 31 And fruit abundant. 32 Neither ending nor forbidden. 33 on raised couches. 34 for, behold, We shall have brought them into being in a life renewed, 35 And made them virgins. 36 Loving companions matched in age, 37 For the companions of the right [who are] 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
