NAY, but consider the moon! 32 And by the Night as it retreateth, 33 The morning when it is unveiled, 34 Surely, it is one of the gravest things, 35 As a warning to humanity - 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every soul will be a pledge for that which it hath earned, 38 except those of the right hand 39 Sitting in the gardens, asking 40 About the guilty: 41 What hath brought you to this burning? 42 They will reply: 'We were not among those who prayed 43 and we did not feed the poor; 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 And we used to deny the Day of Recompense 46 "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain." 47 So the intercession of intercessors shall not avail them. 48 What ails them, that they turn away from the Reminder, 49 As they were frightened asses 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 Nay, verily. They fear not the Hereafter. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 So whosoever will (let him read it), and receive admonition (from it)! 55 But they will not remember except as God wills: He is worthy to be feared, and He is worthy of forgiving 56
Almighty Allah's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
