The Ant (Al-Naml)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta Sin. Those are the signs of the Koran and a Manifest Book, 1 A guide: and glad tidings for the believers,- 2 Who fulfil their devotional obligations, pay the zakat, and believe with certainty in the life to come. 3 As for those who do not believe in the Everlasting Life, We have decorated for them their works, and they wander blindly. 4 Such are those for whom there is an evil punishment, and in the Everlasting Life are the greatest losers. 5 Lo! as for thee (Muhammad), thou verily receivest the Qur'an from the presence of One Wise, Aware. 6 (Remember) when Musa (Moses) said to his household: "Verily! I have seen a fire, I will bring you from there some information, or I will bring you a burning brand, that you may warm yourselves." 7 But when he came to it, he was called: "Blessed is whosoever is in the fire, and whosoever is round about it! And glorified be Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 8 “O Moosa, I am indeed, in truth, Allah the Almighty, the Wise.” 9 Throw down your staff." When Moses saw his staff on the ground moving like a living creature, he stepped back and did not come forward again. The Lord said,"Moses, do not be afraid. Messengers do not become afraid in My presence". 10 and neither need anyone who has done wrong and then has replaced the wrong with good: for, verily, I am much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace! 11 "Now put thy hand into thy bosom, and it will come forth white without stain (or harm): (these are) among the nine Signs (thou wilt take) to Pharaoh and his people: for they are a people rebellious in transgression." 12 But when Our signs came to them visibly, they said, 'This is a manifest sorcery'; 13 They denied those Signs out of iniquity and arrogance although their hearts were convinced of their truth. So see how evil was the end of those mischief-makers! 14
