Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 And He made its night dark, and started its light. 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 and firmly fixed in it mountains; 32 As convenience for you and your cattle. 33 On the day when the great calamity comes, 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 And the hell shall be made manifest to him who sees 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 And who preferred the life of the world, 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 But as for him who feared the Station of his Lord and forbade the soul its caprice, 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They (the disbelievers) ask you regarding the Last Day, as to when is its appointed time. 42 What do you have to do with explaining it? 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth it. 45 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
