The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Woe unto every slandering traducer, 1 [Woe unto him who amasses wealth and counts it a safeguard, 2 Does he think that his wealth will prolong his stay on earth forever? 3 Never! He will certainly be thrown into the Crushing One. 4 And what could make thee conceive what that crushing torment will be? 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 the Fire that shall rise to the hearts (of criminals). 7 Verily, it shall be closed in on them, 8 In extended columns. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
