۞ Also, We revealed to Moses, saying: 'Go with My worshipers by night, for you will be followed' 52 Then Fir'awn sent unto the cities callers: 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 their treasures and their noble dwellings -- 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
