Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ No! I swear by the Day of Resurrection, 1 And I swear by the reproaching soul [to the certainty of resurrection]. 2 What, does man reckon We shall not gather his bones? 3 Yes indeed; We have the power to remould even his finger-tips. 4 In fact man wishes to commit evil in front of Him! 5 He questions: "When is the Day of Resurrection?" 6 So when vision is dazzled 7 the moon eclipsed. 8 And the sun and moon will be joined together (by going one into the other or folded up or deprived of their light, etc.) 9 on that Day man will ask, "Where can I escape?" 10 But nay: no refuge [for thee, O man]! 11 on that Day, to your Lord alone is the recourse. 12 Man will be apprised, on that Day, of what he has done and what he has left undone: 13 Oh, but man is a telling witness against himself, 14 even though he might make up excuses. 15 Move not thy tongue concerning the (Qur'an) to make haste therewith. 16 for, behold, it is for Us to gather it [in thy heart,] and to cause it to be read [as it ought to be read]. 17 And so when We recite it, follow its recitation attentively; 18 Then upon Us is its clarification [to you]. 19 Nay; the truth is that you love ardently (the good of this world) that can be obtained hastily, 20 And neglect the Hereafter. 21 Some faces, that Day, will beam (in brightness and beauty);- 22 Looking towards their Lord; 23 And on that Day there shall be scowling faces, 24 believing that a crushing calamity is about to strike them. 25 Some people, certainly, do not believe in it, but when a person's soul reaches up to his throat 26 And it is said, "Who will cure [him]?" 27 (the angels of mercy or the angels of wrath,)" then, he will realize that it is time to leave this world. 28 And affliction is combined with affliction; 29 upon that Day the driving shall be to your Lord. 30

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
توجد تمارين تحفيظ للوضعين العربي الأصلي والعربي المخطوط بأحرف إنجليزية فقط. ولا تحتوي الترجمة الإنجليزية على تمارين حفظ.
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
