Believers, do not devour usury multiplied many times over. Fear God, so that you may prosper, 130 Guard yourselves against the Fire prepared for unbelievers. 131 And pay heed unto God and the Apostle, so that you might be graced with mercy. 132 ۞ Be quick in the race for forgiveness from your Lord, and for a Garden whose width is that (of the whole) of the heavens and of the earth, prepared for the righteous,- 133 who spend in the way of Allah both in plenty and hardship, who restrain their anger, and forgive others. Allah loves such good-doers." 134 And those who, when they do an evil thing or wrong themselves, remember Allah and implore forgiveness for their sins - Who forgiveth sins save Allah only? - and will not knowingly repeat (the wrong) they did. 135 Their reward will be forgiveness from their Lord and gardens wherein streams flow and wherein they will live forever. How blessed is the reward of those who labor. 136 Indeed there have been examples before you; therefore travel in the earth and see what was the end of the rejecters. 137 This [Qur'an] is a clear statement to [all] the people and a guidance and instruction for those conscious of Allah. 138 And do not become faint of heart, nor grieve, you will have the upper hand, if you are believers, 139 If a wound has befallen you a similar wound has already befallen the people who are opposed to you. We make such movements to men in turn so that Allah might mark out those who are the true men of faith and select from among you those who do really bear witness (to the Truth): for Allah does not love the wrong-doers, 140 so that God may purge those who believe and wipe out those who deny the truth. 141 Do you think you will go to Paradise while God does not know who among you strive and persist? 142 You were longing for death, before you met it. Now you have seen it with your own eyes. 143
