۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 it is indeed a Glorious Koran, 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 If he is a Companion of the Right 90 [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] "Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!" 91 And if he be of the beliers, the erring, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
