The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta, Seen, Meem. 1 These are verses of the clear Book. 2 It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers. 3 Had We wanted, We would have sent them a miracle from the sky to make their heads hang down in submission. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 They will soon come to know the truth of that which they have been scoffing at. 6 Do they not see the earth, how many of every noble kind We have caused to grow in it? 7 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them will not accept faith. 8 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
