He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ (The Prophet (Peace be upon him)) frowned and turned away, 1 Because a blind man came to him. 2 Yet for all thou didst know, [O Muhammad,] he might perhaps have grown in purity, 3 Or that he may accept advice, so the advice may benefit him. 4 Now he who waxes indifferent, 5 you attended to him, 6 although it is not for you to be concerned if he remained unpurified. 7 But as to him who came to you running. 8 And with fear (in his heart), 9 From him thou art distracted. 10 No indeed; this is only a Reminder. 11 So whoever wishes may remember it. 12 (This Quran) is also recorded in honorable books, 13 Exalted (in dignity), kept pure and holy, 14 by the hands of scribes 15 noble and purified. 16 May man be slain how ungrateful he is! 17 Of what substance God created him? 18 Of a sperm-drop He created him, and determined him, 19 then eased his path for him, 20 and in the end He causes him to die and brings him to the grave; 21 Then when He wills, He will resurrect him. 22 No! Man has not yet accomplished what He commanded him. 23 So man must look at his food. 24 We poured water, pouring it in great abundance, 25 Then We split the earth properly. 26 And produce therein corn, 27 And grapes and vegetables 28 And olives and date-palms, 29 and gardens dense with foliage, 30 and fruit and pastures, 31 for you and for your herds to delight in. 32 Then when cometh the Deafening Cry 33 The day on which a man shall fly from his brother, 34 his mother and his father, 35 his consort, his sons, 36 every man that day shall have business to suffice him. 37 [Some] faces, that Day, will be bright - 38 laughing, rejoicing at glad tidings. 39 And other faces, on that day, with dust upon them, 40 Dust shall cover them 41 Those are the disbelievers, the wicked. 42
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
