BEHOLD, We shall indeed succour Our apostles and those who have attained to faith, [both] in this world's life and on the Day when all the witnesses shall stand up 51 the Day when their excuses will be of no avail to the evildoers, seeing that their lot will be rejection from all that is good, and a woeful hereafter. 52 And, indeed We gave Musa (Moses) the guidance, and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit the Scripture [i.e. the Taurat (Torah)], 53 which was a guidance and good counsel to people endowed with understanding and wisdom. 54 So persevere; the promise of God is true; and seek forgiveness for your sins, and chant the praises of your Lord evening and morning. 55 Behold, as for those who call God's messages in question without having any evidence therefore in their hearts is nothing but overweening self-conceit, which they will never be able to satisfy: seek thou, then, refuge with God - for, verily, He alone is all-hearing, all-seeing! 56 The creation of the heavens and the earth is indeed of greater magnitude than the creation of mankind; but most men do not understand. 57 The blind and the seeing are surely not alike, nor those who believe and act rightly and those who do evil. Little do you reflect! 58 There is no doubt that the Hour is coming, yet most people do not believe. 59 Your Lord said: “Pray to Me, and I will accept your prayers. Surely those who wax too proud to worship Me shall enter Hell, utterly abased.” 60
