And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
