Say, [O Muhammad], "I only invoke my Lord and do not associate with Him anyone." 20 Say, "Indeed, I do not possess for you [the power of] harm or right direction." 21 Say, "No one can protect me from God, nor can I find any place of refuge but with him. 22 except a deliverance from Allah and His Messages. He who disobeys Allah and His Messenger, for him is the Fire of Gehenna, which he will be in for ever. 23 Until, when they see that which they are promised, then they will know who is weaker in helpers and fewer in numbers. 24 Say thou: I know not whether that which ye are promised is nigh, or whether my Lord hath appointed for it a distant term. 25 Knower He of the Unseen, and He discloses not His Unseen to anyone, 26 Except whom He has approved of messengers, and indeed, He sends before each messenger and behind him observers 27 "That He may know that they have (truly) brought and delivered the Messages of their Lord: and He surrounds (all the mysteries) that are with them, and takes account of every single thing." 28
