Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
