Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
CONSIDER the bright morning hours, 1 and by the night when it darkens, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? 6 Did He not find you unaware of the Right Way, and then directed you to it? 7 Did He not find thee needy, and suffice thee? 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
