The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Woe to every scorner and mocker 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the Crushing Fire. 4 Would that you knew what hutamah is! 5 The fire of Allah, that is ablaze. 6 the Fire that shall rise to the hearts (of criminals). 7 Indeed it will be shut over them. 8 in endless columns! 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
