۞ And recite to them the news of Nuh (Noah). When he said to his people: "O my people, if my stay (with you), and my reminding (you) of the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah is hard on you, then I put my trust in Allah. So devise your plot, you and your partners, and let not your plot be in doubt for you. Then pass your sentence on me and give me no respite. 71 And if you turn away [from my advice] then no payment have I asked of you. My reward is only from Allah, and I have been commanded to be of the Muslims." 72 And yet they gave him the lie! And so We saved him and all who stood by him, in the ark, and made them inherit [the earth,] the while We caused those who gave the lie to Our messages to drown: behold, then, what happened in the end to those people who had been warned [in vain]! 73 Then, after him, We sent messengers unto their folk, and they brought them clear proofs. But they were not ready to believe in that which they before denied. Thus print We on the hearts of the transgressors. 74 Then after them, We sent Moosa and Haroon along with Our signs, to Firaun and his court members, so they were proud and were a guilty people. 75 When the Truth did come to them from Us, they said: "This is indeed evident sorcery!" 76 Musa (Moses) said: "Say you (this) about the truth when it has come to you? Is this magic? But the magicians will never be successful." 77 They said: art thou come unto us to turn us aside from that faith whereon We found our fathers, and that the greatness in the land shall be unto you twain! And for the sake of you twain we are not going to be believers. 78 (Then) Pharaoh said: 'Bring every skilled sorcerer' 79 And when the sorcerers came, Moses said unto them: "Throw whatever you may [wish to] throw!" 80 Therefore when they had cast, Moosa said, “This what you have brought, is magic; Allah will now make it void; indeed Allah does not make the works of the mischievous successful.” 81 "And Allah by His words doth prove and establish His truth, however much the sinners may hate it!" 82
