We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
