They will ask thee of the mountains (on that day). Say: My Lord will break them into scattered dust. 105 "Then He shall leave it as a level smooth plain. 106 Wherein thou shalt not see any crookedness or ruggedness. 107 On that Day all will follow the summoning voice from which there is no escape; and all voices will be hushed before the Lord of Mercy, and nothing will be heard except a subdued murmur. 108 On that day no one’s intercession shall benefit except his to whom the Most Gracious has given permission and whose word He has liked. (The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 109 Allah knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, but they do not encompass it in knowledge. 110 ۞ (All) faces shall be humbled before the Living One, the Eternal. Those who are burdened with wrong doing shall have failed, 111 But he who works deeds of righteousness, and has faith, will have no fear of harm nor of any curtailment (of what is his due). 112 AND THUS have We bestowed from on high this [divine writ] as a discourse in the Arabic tongue, and have given therein many facets to all manner of warnings, so that men might remain conscious of Us, or that it give rise to a new awareness in them 113 Therefore Supreme is Allah, the True King; and do not hasten in the Qur’an (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) until its divine revelation has been completed to you; and pray, “My Lord, bestow me more knowledge.” 114 We had already, beforehand, taken the covenant of Adam, but he forgot: and We found on his part no firm resolve. 115
