Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force, 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 by (the angels) who make a clear distinction between right and wrong 4 Then spread abroad a Message, 5 As justification or warning, 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 Then when the stars become dim; 8 When the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 For what Day are these (portents) deferred? 12 For the Day of Sorting out. 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 We shall then send the latter after them. 17 Thus do We deal with the guilty. 18 On that day, woe upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 for an appointed time? 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 28 'Depart unto that which ye were wont to belie. 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 it indeed throws up sparks like castles, 32 sparks like to golden herds. 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 This is a Day they will not speak, 35 Nor given leave to make excuses. 36 On that day, woe would be those who have rejected God's revelations! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me! 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40
