Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 These are revelations of the wise Scripture, 2 As guidance and mercy for the doers of good 3 people who are steadfast in prayer, pay the religious tax, and have firm belief in the life to come. 4 Those are upon guidance from their Lord; those are the prosperers. 5 But among men are also those who spread frivolous stories to mislead (others) from the way of God, without any knowledge, and take it lightly. For such as these the nemesis will be shameful. 6 When Our revelations are recited to them, they turn back on their heels out of pride as if they did not hear them or their ears had been sealed off. Warn them of the painful torment. 7 Surely, those who believe and do good works shall enter gardens of bliss, 8 Wherein they will abide. It is a promise of Allah in truth. He is the Mighty, the Wise. 9 He created the heavens without pillars that you see and cast on the earth firm mountains lest it should shake with you. Upon it He dispersed all manner of crawling thing, and He sent down water from the sky with which He caused to grow in it every generous kind. 10 This is the creation of Allah. So show Me what those other than Him have created. Rather, the wrongdoers are in clear error. 11
